Perfect Felted Mittens: Knitting Pattern

This is my version of the perfect felted mitten. They are designed to be made with Noro 100% wool, a worsted weight wool that is available in a mind-boggling array of self-striping colourways. It tends to felt in a reasonable and controlled way, leaving some stitch definition and a fuzzy and warm finished product that is neither stiff nor bulky. The pattern contains a link to a video on my Youtube channel that demonstrates 3 specific knitting techniques you need. These are definitely suitable for beginners, and can be worked up in a few hours - the perfect handmade gift. The pattern is designed for women, but 3 sizes are given which should also fit larger children and adolescents, and some men. Grab some Noro, 5 and 6mm dpns or circular needles, and you're set.
